Since several of you have written me from the last newsletter with questions and asking for clarity, I wanted to follow up with answers and a reminder about today's deadline.
For those who are just tuning in without wanting more than bite size info, I included a mouthful of that for you as well. It's a big bite, but I love to share more about you. So reminder and more about you, something for everyone...that's the way I like it!
Today is the last day for the special - (those of you who have been emailing me questions) you can click the link and the bottom of this email to jump in to a hands on evening or call with me.
We will be working with techniques like the one I've included in this email to help you take those old memories of what doesn't make you feel good about dating/mating and relating and shift into a place that makes you feel confident, sexy and looking forward to meeting or connecting with that certain someone.
I've included in this email today a great portable skill to use on any memory you want to re'view' in a way that makes you feel better about YOU. Use it where you will...
So here we go with the exercise to retrain your brain around that old memory you want to release the negative 'charge' on with this simple exercise.
Start by picking a painful memory that makes your stomach clench or your shoulders tense or just makes you feel awful when you think of it.
Notice, where do you feel that memory in your body? Spend a moment or two here and even put your hand on that place if you can.
Now, are you looking out of your eyes in the memory, as if you are in that place reliving it all again or are you watching yourself as it unfolds?
What colors are there or is it black and white or muted? Can you hear anything? Is it loud or soft? What are you touching or what is touching you?
We are moving through all the senses to help you get a clear picture. Have you got one?
Okay, if you are looking out your own eyes, step into the viewer mode and walk across the room to watch what you are doing from outside yourself - like an observer. Now shrink that picture down to about an 5x7 and hang it down to the left of you. Take a deep breath or two.
Okay, then do the exact same thing with a GREAT memory - follow the questions above until you get a good picture of this one hanging out down and to your right.
Now looking at the two you are going to turn up the colors and sound on the positive memory.
Let that picture start building up, growing and moving into center screen right in front of you. Turn the colors and sound down on the picture to your left. Picture a little hole in the bottom of the picture and see the memory leaking out and into the ground. Watch the ground absorb all of the picture.
While this is going on keep moving the center picture up into larger and larger space. See the positive picture putting down roots that go into the ground near but not over where the painful memory soaked in and watch the roots from the first picture soaking up nourishment from the ground.
See that everything that is planted in solid ground can be transformed into 'food' for the bigger, powerful picture! Now breathe and step back into the positive picture so you are looking out your own eyes again in the scene rather than watching it happen.
You can repeat this as often as you like to help reframe those painful memories into mulch and fertilizer for your positive moments!
There is more of this on the call and event next week for those who like this work. You are most welcome to join me!
Now our Head lines... some fun reading for a Superbowl Sunday!
